Redefining Ourselves

The future God has ordained for you will never be materialized or received by you as you are right now.

Those are strong words, but they are one of the truest words you will ever hear this year of your life.We are creatures of habit and routine and in these set ways we have defined not only our existence, but our success in life. It’s like finding a snake that’s been wounded and because we habitually care for things, we pick it up, only to have it bite us. We often find something that works for us – a calling, a church, a hobby, a career etc, then we spend our days living around what we have defined.

But that is not what the Father has called us to this planet to be and do. His ultimate purpose for us was never to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed into the image of His Son. It is not easy because if it was, more people would do it. The road to deep spiritual awareness is narrow and few will make that choice.

My friend, for you there is no deeper spiritual engaging without a redefining of who you are by the renewing of your mind. This is a year I  believe the Lord is calling us to trust His extreme makeover plans for us.

In order for Him to lead you into a year of victory for you and to live full of His power and grace, there must be:

 1. A removing of your garments like blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46, 47).

2.  An overcoming of fear to face your enemy as Gideon did (Judges 6).

3.  A throwing away of emotional crutches like the man at the Gate Beautiful (Acts 3).

We must, by His power and grace alone, work through our willing spirits and determined wills to seek His face and His heart now more than ever. Some of us are going to make it while others will only wish for more of God’s power in our lives. But we are unable to put our flesh to death and embrace the life of God.

Like Elisha there will be mantles to be received on this battlefield called earth.  But few are willing to pay the ultimate price in order to carry them. It’s a year of new levels of fear, distrust in every aspect of our generation. Nations will struggle more and economies will no longer be defined by their traditional productive sectors. Knowledge will increase but more and more people will be displaced and the lives of many will be at the mercy of a few.

But there are a few souls, I believe who are learning to redefine their language, speech and behaviour. In these souls, their Father will give incredible provision to share the message of His kingdom and the teaching of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We, at Faith Five, are more committed than ever before to be right where the Father wants us to be and to stay with our main focus. We are an intercessory body, a prophetic house and an apostolic people.

We love you and thank God for your prayers. It is our desire to be everything God has called us to be and to do so that those of you who are a part of this flow of God will be richly blessed and challenged.

Behold, God is doing a new thing! – Apostle Anthony Nelson
