What you speak from your mouth is what will become of you. It’s not what goes into a man that defiles him, but it’s that which comes out of him. What is it that you are saying My children? What is it that you are saying, My son and My daughter. What is it that you are saying that I have said over you that you’re decreeing and that you’re believing even now in the situation, in this circumstances that you find yourself in for I am your Strength.

I am your Exceeding Great Reward. I am the Glory and the Lifter of your Head. I am the One that takes you from and takes you through and takes you to for I have called you to become. I have called you to become. I have called you to become and so as you become, My children, what you speak is what you will become because My life is in you. My life is in you, but I need to come out of you.

Speak My Word! Sing My Word! Decree My Word! Live My Word and you will become like Me. I overcame. I overcame through My Son. Will you allow Me to come out of you so you can overcome as My children? – Prophetess Cheryl Nelson

Have you ever realized how wrong we all can be about something we all thought we knew was right? Well, like the ancient Israelites in 1 Sam. 4:1-11 after their defeat to the Philistines, they thought that by bringing the ark of the covenant into the war camp they would have certain victory. But it didn’t work for them. The Philistines were afraid of what they they thought was a new idol of sorts among their enemy and that surely they had no hope against this God of the Israelites. But they still rose up and defeated the Israelites soundly.

We Christians can be just as wrong as the unsaved if we think attending church services and singing songs is going to somehow take the place of a true relationship with the God of the universe. This is the wrong idea for if it never worked in the past, it will not work for us today. Using Christian cliches and bringing out our symbols of faith will never take the place of the true surrender of a son of God who seeks to walk in constant obedience to the Most High.

Like the children of Israel, I believe you and I are in the midst of not only a cultural war, but a spiritual conflict that requires no props, symbols, and religious practices. What we need are real, live instruments that when applied will do damage to the enemy and advance the Father’s kingdom. I intend to win the battle in Christ’s name. What about you?

See you at the finish line! Apostle Anthony Nelson

The future God has ordained for you will never be materialized or received by you as you are right now.

Those are strong words, but they are one of the truest words you will ever hear this year of your life.We are creatures of habit and routine and in these set ways we have defined not only our existence, but our success in life. It’s like finding a snake that’s been wounded and because we habitually care for things, we pick it up, only to have it bite us. We often find something that works for us – a calling, a church, a hobby, a career etc, then we spend our days living around what we have defined.

But that is not what the Father has called us to this planet to be and do. His ultimate purpose for us was never to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed into the image of His Son. It is not easy because if it was, more people would do it. The road to deep spiritual awareness is narrow and few will make that choice.

My friend, for you there is no deeper spiritual engaging without a redefining of who you are by the renewing of your mind. This is a year I believe the Lord is calling us to trust His extreme makeover plans for us.

In order for Him to lead you into a year of victory for you and to live full of His power and grace, there must be:

1. A removing of your garments like blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46, 47).

2. An overcoming of fear to face your enemy as Gideon did (Judges 6).

3. A throwing away of emotional crutches like the man at the Gate Beautiful (Acts 3).

We must, by His power and grace alone, work through our willing spirits and determined wills to seek His face and His heart now more than ever. Some of us are going to make it while others will only wish for more of God’s power in our lives. But we are unable to put our flesh to death and embrace the life of God.

Like Elisha there will be mantles to be received on this battlefield called earth. But few are willing to pay the ultimate price in order to carry them. It’s a year of new levels of fear, distrust in every aspect of our generation. Nations will struggle more and economies will no longer be defined by their traditional productive sectors. Knowledge will increase but more and more people will be displaced and the lives of many will be at the mercy of a few.

But there are a few souls, I believe who are learning to redefine their language, speech and behaviour. In these souls, their Father will give incredible provision to share the message of His kingdom and the teaching of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We, at Faith Five, are more committed than ever before to be right where the Father wants us to be and to stay with our main focus. We are an intercessory body, a prophetic house and an apostolic people.

We love you and thank God for your prayers. It is our desire to be everything God has called us to be and to do so that those of you who are a part of this flow of God will be richly blessed and challenged.

Behold, God is doing a new thing! – Apostle Anthony Nelson

We are entering the season of Christmas when many of us will be deciding what gift to give loved ones and those who we do not love so much. It’s a time when stores will be vying for our attention and websites will be showing us various gifts to buy.

It seems that gifts are what we all would like, but many times, don’t get the ones we prefer. But we get the ones that others give us in the spur of the moment or based on their pocket, they give you what they can afford. After all, when Christmas is over, we still have to live.

But over the years as I walk with the Lord, I have begun to understand that God’s gifts to us are always what we need and filled with the potential to challenge our lives to grow and develop into what He wants them for. He does not give you seasonal gifts, but lifetime gifts. There is a verse we all know quite well that endorses this statement.

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

In this profound statement, we see the heart of God our Father to us in that His love for us, His creation, would not allow Him to stand by and see our demise. He knew before the world began what He intended to do for man’s condition of sin, so He freely gave His greatest gift to us. He gave us the opportunity to have life more abundantly through His Son as we believe and receive Him in faith.

But this gift gets better. The Father in His loving wisdom wraps this gift in the form of His Son who grew up among men who did not know Him and at the time of His unwrapping most of those living still did not see Him as who He really was.

The leadership was threatened by Him, while the common folks loved Him. He was Immanuel, high priest, Saviour and Redeemer wrapped in one. He was the greatest gift the Father could ever give to His creation. In his book Wishful Thinking, author Frederick Buechner puts it this way:

”The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn’t have been complete without you. Here is the world. Beautiful and terrible things will happen. Don’t be afraid. I am with you. Nothing can ever separate us. It’s for you I created the universe. I love you. There’s only one catch. Like any other gift, the gift of grace can be yours only if you’ll reach out and take it. Maybe being able to reach out and take it is a gift too.”

Christ came as the grace of God to us and the full embodiment of what the Father wanted for us all. This grace of God is invisible, but has a very tangible ability to deal with things that most of us could not handle. But because of the Lord, we can overcome those situations and still carry a smile on our face and a deep joy in our souls.

That’s the gift I wish for you in this season when so many will be struggling with bills, absent loved ones and health issues. The greatest gift I could pray that you receive would be the grace of the Lord and His incredible peace as you share with those God has given you in your life.

The Apostle Paul puts is so succinctly when he says,

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Cor. 12:9

May His grace be yours in a deeper way this season as you become more deeply aware of His love for you and how far He came to reach you and I so that we by faith can receive His Grace for all of the seasons in our life.

Remember if God can only give good gifts and you are from Him, then you are also a gift to someone’s life. From all of us at Faith Five Fellowship Of Ministries, we pray that you and your family have a new-year filled with the Grace of God. – Apostle Anthony Nelson

I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it (Ps. 81:10)

Your mind is still trying to solve things and get out of things and by the time you go to bed, your brain is still working, so all when your mind should be resting, you are still running through your mental process. But your brain is not reset yet. You can read the Scriptures all you want, and sing some songs, but your brain needs to be reset. What God has given to us to reset our minds is worship. And something in our lives is going to give – either the situation or you. If man can tell us to reset ourselves with Daylight Savings Time, how much more God! Worship resets us to God’s time. We are worried about many things like where we are going to live, what we’re going to do, but that’s the business of our heavenly Father. We don’t think that way, though, because our minds have not been reset.

Worship is the primary way to reset yourself. You may say I don’t clap my hands. I don’t raise my hands. That’s alright, but I guarantee you when you walk into a new revelation of God, your whole body will get free from your mind.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Rom. 12:1,2).

In this nation, we are filled with our minds and with our reasoning. But if you are going to survive, break out in worship. The moment the bill comes to you, don’t think about it. Worship your God! Are you going through a hard time, a difficult time? I’ve been there, and I’m still seeing some things around me. But as long as you live, something will always want to challenge your life. As long as we are on this planet, things will always come at me to disturb my peace, but I will worship my God and He will be my refuge.

What God said alone will never defeat the enemy; it’s what’s coming out of your spirit man. God said He looks for those who will worship Him in spirit and truth.

If you don’t come to a place in your personal worship, you will counsel that thing for the rest of your days. We are counselling demons and we are writing books for people to gain more intellectual understanding because we have become masters of our own heads. We have fooled a whole generation to become masters of their heads. Now we have fatheads, but weak spirits. How can we be counselling people for 15 years? But in a moment Jesus met the woman at the well and she had an encounter with Him. We would have counselled her about her parents, the men in her life, but she just needed Him.

We don’t need a building to worship God. We don’t need statues or crosses. We need an open mouth that is filled with praise. For every situation that comes to you, reset your mind before you respond to it.

I am here because of worship. How are you going to win? Don’t ask God to deliver you. Ask Him to empower you for worship. - Apostle Anthony Nelson. Taken from the Apostolic Training Center, Sun. Nov. 2011.
